Purpose of the project
For this project, I am going to analysis a UX problem from Timeine. Timeline is a news application I use in my daily life.
The Goal
My goal is to redesign the loading animation and bring better user experience for the audience.
Previous Loading animation
The Problem
The problem of the previous loading animation is when the loading starts, you only see a small logo circulating all the time, and it never stops, you don’t know when the action will be done.
The rough plan of redesign
The redesigned loading animation has improved the user experience because by watching this loading animation, it can give you a lot of information. When the loading time is long, the whole animation process will also become longer. In that way, you can know when the loading will be finished instead of just staring at it, and have no idea when it’s going to be finished.
