International students application
Purpose of the project
For this project, I and my group are going to develop the Sheridan international students application. The application system is not user-friendly, as an international student when I was applying for Sheridan, it bothered me a lot. The design of the website is not fancy, it lacks a lot of useful functions. Our goal is to improve the user experience, make it look nice and functional.
Research
After we decide to develop the Sheridan international student application, we didn't start drawing wireframes right away, because we think to develop the application system and make it user-friendly, the key thing is user, we need to get feedback from our audience, we have to know what they want, so we created a short online survey and encourage people to fill it out. After we got the feedback from international students, and we held a few interviews with some of them to get more information. After we did that, we gather everything we have and started to create personas and behavioural patterns.
After we made personas and behavioural patterns, we knew the expectations from our audience, and we made a list to show what we need to focus on when we are developing the application system.
Since we already have a clear goal by doing user experience research. We started to draw the wireframe in our sketchbook.
